Craig is an Associate Chief Medical Examiner at the North Carolina Office.

During his scholarship year Craig got hooked on the gritty job of search and recovery.

After his Scholarship year, Craig worked with Lifeguard Systems as an assistant instructor in water rescue and underwater body recovery, which spawned an interest in his next career path. He completed medical school, residency, and fellowship to become a forensic pathologist, first working in San Diego and then in his home state of North Carolina.

Currently, he reviews diving fatalities for DAN and stays active with dive teams, filling spare time with diving his Mark V helmet and other antique gear.
