National Park Service Research Internship

Yasmeen Smalley is an underwater photographer, science communicator and conservationist whose passion is documenting the endangered wonders of our underwater world. Yasmeen graduated in 2013 from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Photojournalism, a BS in Biomedical Photographic Communications, and two minors in Environmental Science and Journalism. Her diverse experiences as a PADI Divemaster and underwater photographer include interning in the Dive Operations department at the Georgia Aquarium, studying marine science in the Turks and Caicos Islands and working in the Conservation Department of the New England Aquarium as a film intern.
